These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of this website and the services provided by Local Service Specialists ("we", "us"). By requesting or receiving services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Services

We provide home and business services including heating and cooling, plumbing, electrical, handyman, landscaping and cleaning work, performed by our own staff. Service availability depends on location, scheduling and the nature of the job. Descriptions on this site are general information and are not an offer or guarantee that a specific job can be performed.

2. Estimates, Scheduling and Payment

Any estimate is based on the information available at the time and may change if the scope of work changes or if conditions are discovered on site. Appointment times are arranged in advance; if you need to reschedule, contact us as early as possible. Payment terms are agreed before work begins. No payment is ever required to submit the contact form.

3. Your Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate contact details and an accurate description of the work.
  • Ensure safe and reasonable access to the work area.
  • Disclose known hazards or prior work that may affect the job.

4. SMS Messaging Program

Our contact form offers two separate, optional text message consents: one for transactional messages and one for marketing and promotional messages. Both are unchecked by default and neither is a condition of purchase or of receiving any service. You receive only the message types you have opted in to, at the phone number you provided.

Enclosed is a copy of the boilerplate terms of service covering minimum requirements from the carriers

  1. This campaign sends SMS Notifications, Alerts & Occasional Marketing Communication to customers who have opted in to receive SMS notifications.
  2. You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Simply text "STOP" to the shortcode. Upon sending "STOP," we will confirm your unsubscribe status via SMS. Following this confirmation, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. To rejoin, sign up as you did initially, and we will resume sending SMS messages to you.
  3. If you experience issues with the messaging program, reply with the keyword HELP for more assistance, or reach out directly to [EMAIL].
  4. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
  5. As always, message and data rates may apply for messages sent to you from us and to us from you. Message frequency varies. For questions about your text plan or data plan, contact your wireless provider.

5. Privacy

Our handling of your information is described in our Privacy Policy. No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes.

6. Warranties

Except where a specific written warranty is provided for a job, services are provided on an "as is" basis and we disclaim all other warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. 7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Local Service Specialists and its owners and employees shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data or use, arising out of or related to the services, this website, or our messaging program, whether based in contract, tort, or any other legal theory, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total aggregate liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to us for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
